PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that, on or about May 1, 2022, Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power filed with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (“IURC”) a 30-Day Filing to reduce rates to effectuate the repeal of the Utility Receipts Tax (“URT”) under House Enrolled Act 1002 (the “Act”). On March 16, 2022, the Act was signed into law by Governor Eric Holcomb, removing the URT from utility bills for usage beginning July 1, 2022. This removal is approximately a 1.46% reduction in monthly electric bills. A Commission decision on this 30-Day Filing is anticipated no sooner than thirty days after the date of filing. Green Power Rider – Public Notice

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to 170 Ind. Admin. Code 1-6-6, that on or about January 25, 2019, the City of Crawfordsville, Indiana, by its municipal electric utility, Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power (“CELP”), expects to file with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (“IURC”), under its 30-day filing procedure, a request seeking Commission approval of a reduction in its Green Power Rider.  This Rider is applicable to all CELP customers, and will be reduced from one dollar ($1.00) per 100 kWh block, to thirty cents ($0.30) per 100 kWh block designated per month to Green Power. In addition, the 1,000 kWh limitation which currently caps the amount of renewable energy a customer may elect under the Green Power Rider will be eliminated.  Approval of this filing is expected by February 24, 2019, but no sooner than 30 days after receipt of the filing by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission.  Objections to the filing should be made in writing addressed to:

Legal Notice of 30 Day Filing

On or about June 25, 2015, Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power will submit a revised tariff to the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (“Commission”) for approval of the Green Power Rate under its 30-Day Filing Procedures, 170 IAC 1-6-1, et seq.  Under the new tariff provision, Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power will allow customers to elect to purchase in 100 kWh blocks, up to 1000 kWh, of the customer’s monthly energy consumption to be attributable to Green Power.  Green Power includes energy generated from renewable and/or environmentally friendly sources, which presently includes:  solar and wind.  Customers participation is voluntary.  If approved by the Commission, Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power’s voluntary Green Power program will result in an increase of $1.00 per 100 kWh of Green Power in addition to the charges on the customer’s regular tariff for service.
