City Council Passes Disconnect Ordinance
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY – All Residential and Commercial services which are 400 amp and below now require a fused or breaker disconnect device at the meter location.
In an effort to continue providing safe and reliable electric service, and to protect the health and safety of our customers and our staff by limiting the spread of COVID-19, Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power will close its lobby to the public until further notice. The health of our community members and our staff is a top priority.
Customer Service staff will still be available to assist with utility questions and needs. The drive-through lanes will be open during regular business hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday. Customers still have several options in which to pay their bill, including online bill pay at http://www.celp.com, via phone at 765-362-1900, by check mailed to our office, ACH bank draft, or by using our drop boxes at the City Building or CEL&P office.
Additionally, our 24-hour communications center will continue to operate. Customers are able to contact CEL&P 24-hours a day by calling the communications center at 765-362-1900
